MiD Mediation & Counselling
Family Mediation helps those involved in family breakdown to communicate better with one another and reach their own decisions about all or some of the issues arising from separation or divorce.
Agreement to mediate
Mediation is a voluntary process where both clients must be willing to try and reach an agreement together.
You may choose to come to MiD for an initial meeting separately or together with your partner, to decide whether mediation is suitable. After that, both of you and the mediator decide whether to go ahead with mediation. If you all decide to proceed, we ask both of you to sign our agreement to mediate. This agreement confirms that you will both do your best to arrive at joint decisions following our mediation guidelines.
