Experienced and fully qualified Child Counsellor wanted to join a team working in the field of mediation and family breakdown.
We are looking for someone familiar with systemic family therapy, brief therapy or CBT, who is able to undertake effective short-term work with children and their families. The work involves counselling children, plus initial assessment and interim reviews with parents.
Availability on a Monday or Thursday essential.
Be a member of BACP with accreditation or eligible for BACP accreditation (or equivalent registration) or evidence that the counsellor is working towards this status including ongoing training to maintain such eligibility. Will abide by the codes of practice and ethical procedures of BACP, UKCP, BPC.
Applicant must be self-motivated, resilient, used to working as part of a team and willing to promote the service.
The Counsellor would be engaged on a self employed sessional basis of £35p/hr and would be available on a Monday or Thursday from September for afterschool appointments.
